AMG Mercedes sunblind strip

AMG Mercedes windscreen sun strip

The strip measures about 130 cm wide and 11 cm high. It can be applied to the top of the windscreen and, if needed, trimmed to fit the width of the glass better.

The AMG Mercedes sun strip helps reduce glare from direct sunlight and gives the car a more aggressive, tidy and recognisable look.

Features of the AMG Mercedes sun strip

The design recalls the sporty look of the AMG versions, with graphics designed to enhance the windscreen without permanent changes to the vehicle.

The adhesive film can be carefully removed if needed, restoring the original look of the windscreen.

Professional materials and durability

The AMG Mercedes sun strip is made with professional vinyls selected for strength, flexibility and looks. We use materials from recognised manufacturers such as Orafol e 3M, suitable for car decoration and outdoor use.

These materials are designed to withstand UV rays, the weather, temperature changes and normal car washing.

Compatibility of the AMG Mercedes sun strip

The AMG Mercedes sun strip is designed to fit many Mercedes cars, including AMG versions or models with the AMG styling package.

It can be used on models such as the A-Class, C-Class, sports coupés, GLA, GLE and other compatible cars, always checking the windscreen dimensions before buying.

The width of about 130 cm means the strip can also be fitted to slightly narrower windscreens by carefully trimming the excess.

Before application, it is important to check that the strip does not interfere with sensors, cameras, ADAS systems or devices at the top of the windscreen.

Fitting the AMG Mercedes sun strip

To improve adhesion, remove all traces of grease, dust, wax or dirt. You can also use isopropyl alcohol on the area where the film will be applied.

Position the strip starting from the centre of the windscreen and work outwards. Use a soft squeegee to press the vinyl down and remove excess air or water.

If the strip is wider than the windscreen, carefully trim the excess following the edge of the glass. After application, avoid washing or direct water jets for at least 24 hours.

Benefits and customisation

The AMG Mercedes sun strip is not just cosmetic. The strip helps shade the top of the windscreen, reducing the discomfort caused by low sun while driving.

Maintenance and care

After application, the AMG Mercedes sun strip needs little attention. To preserve the vinyl, wash the windscreen with gentle products and soft cloths.

If removing it, warm the film slightly and work slowly, to reduce the risk of residue on the glass.
