Assembly. It fits over the original plastic antenna. Double-sided tape is included, but since it is an exterior part it is better to glue it.

Short or long: which one to choose

On the 500 the antenna is not the same on every car: it changes with the production batch, not with the year. The long one is usually found on cars with DAB radio. Measure your antenna before ordering: the short version has a lower long side of 8 cm and an upper hole of 2.2 cm. The Giulietta takes the long version.

The material: Carbon

Carbon fibre is light and rigid: for the same shape, it weighs less than sheet metal and does not deform easily. The visible weave, beneath the transparent resin, is not a print: it is the actual fabric of the piece.

Finishes and versions

The short and long versions cost the same: you choose before adding to the cart. The carbon weave is visible, with a gloss finish.

How it is fitted

Clean the original antenna well, dry-fit the cover and then glue it. Nothing needs to be removed.

Wash it with water and mild soap, just like the rest of the bodywork. Avoid abrasive polishes and directing a high-pressure washer too closely at the edges: the resin on the surface is hard but thin, and once it has become dull, it will not recover on its own. If you keep your car outdoors all year round, you can apply a wax or a protective treatment for painted surfaces.
